The Garden of Peace

A Memorial to Victims of Homicide

A special place where individuals can mourn, express our condolences
And celebrate the lives of loved ones lost to violence. It will be located on the plaza of 100 Cambridge Street, in Boston.
Catherine Melina is the memorial's designer . She has created a design that is based on the concept of a dry river bed with the names of homicide victims inscribed on smooth stones culminating in a sculpture representing the hope of peace.
Judy Kinsley McKie is an internationally renowned sculptor, whose son Jesse was murdered ten years ago. She has created a sculpture called "Ibis Ascending"
That offers hope and rebirth
